Owner is incredible!! He was so nice and accommodating for GF (separate station for GF bagel). Plus the latte was awesome and so was the GF chocolate banana muffin!

Mushroom coffee?! Yes please. Can’t comment on the food yet but owner Mike & team walk breakfast sandwiches out to the curb when needed while locals pause to sip and savor in all weather. Wicked good with no whiff of Massholery 😉

Customers arrive tired and dreary and leave full of life wondering how does Mike bring the energy and joy every day? The coffee is great, the vibes are great, recently tried the food and it’s also great. “Clear eyes, full hearts, iced coffee, can’t lose!”

Went in here for a quick cup of chai and the employee, unsure if they were the owner or just a worker, was so so sweet and made my drink perfect! Will definitely be back and definitely recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood.

Great coffee plenty of flavours for the iced lattes and Mike is a super friendly dude. Feels like he hit the sweet spot grabbing clients between locals and gentrifies. Like I don’t get any ‘howie Carr’ vibes, but there isn’t a Palestinian or LGBTQZ12345 whatever flag in the window either. 10/10 recommend if you want top notch coffee, a great sandwich and, in this crazy world, to have a normal friendly experience as your first thing in the morning.

So glad I found this spot! The 🍄coffee is incredible & it's always great to find gluten-free options for tasty treats! Mike is a sweetheart & creates the best environment! You will leave happier than you came! Highly recommend!

Mike, the owner, has an incredible attitude and he goes up and beyond. It seems like he woke up just loving life. Best matcha of my life. And the fluffy croissants are worth the extra calories!

First things first. I called the cafe and the owner Mike picked up the phone. That's uncommon. Customer satisfaction begins with someone caring enough to take phone calls. There's attention to detail with food and beverages. I appreciated the barista who was attentive and accommodating.

There’s a reason this is the highest rated coffee shop in Somerville and the surrounding area, and that’s Mike the owner. I had browsed some other reviews before visiting and saw what a big fan of Mike everyone was and I quickly became a fan myself. My wife and I visited yesterday, ordered our coffees and had a seat. Mike asked what our plans were for the day and my wife pointed at me and said “celebrating his birthday” Mike very genuinely and enthusiastically wished me a happy birthday and grabbed me a blueberry muffin from the case. I told him I appreciated the offer but that I’m gluten free and he said, you’re in luck, they are and I’ll prove it! He went in the back and brought out a bag of King Arthur gluten free flour. So I obliged, and damn, that was a good blueberry muffin. If you’re reading this, thanks Mike! Saw countless other patrons come in over the next half hour or so while we hung out and Mike was just as interactive with everyone else. My favorite was all of the dogs (pet friendly establishment) that came in eagerly looking for Mike to get their morning treats. Wicked cafe is an amazing place, I cannot recommend it enough for the perfect start to your day.

My favorite coffee shop in Boston!! I just can’t say enough good things about this place. This cafe is made with so much love and care and you feel that every time you go there. Mike, the owner, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and he has put thought into every single item on the menu and the ingredients. As a bit of a coffee snob haha I have to say the coffee here is top tier, I love the mushroom coffee especially. And the gluten free selection is amazing. The GF blueberry muffins are better than regular ones in my opinion. The staff as a whole is always so kind- it really feels like a true neighborhood gathering spot. Every time I come here I legitimately leave happier, it’s like a bright spot in my day that makes the rest of my day go even better. I can’t recommend Wicked enough. Thanks to Mike and the team this is truly such a special cafe.
